Summary: July to October 2026
Nine releases since July have brought an in-app AI assistant, a new way to keep an eye on failed workflow runs, stronger sign-in, and a long list of improvements for App Builder and the workflow editor. Here are the highlights, grouped by area.
AI
- Ask Frøy, your in-app assistant (October). A helper in the top header that knows which page you are on and answers questions about Vince Platform, with links to the documentation. In the Transform step it can explain errors and write JSONata expressions for you. Answers adapt to your experience level and department. Read more
- Cost overview in App Builder (October). See what AI usage your apps generate and what it costs, with filters for connection, user, label, model and period, and a breakdown by tokens. Read more
- More AI model choice (August). App Builder supports Bedrock models in addition to Anthropic models.
- More control while building (September). Stop an AI response while it is being written, and undo your last prompt to try a different one.
App Builder
- Apps that talk to their surroundings (September). AI Apps can exchange messages with the application they run inside, such as a company portal like Infor OS, so an app can react to what the user does and send results back. Read more
- Create an M3 workflow without leaving App Builder (October). Pick a connection, program and transaction, and the new workflow is ready to use in your app straight away. Read more
- M3 Workflow Builder workflows ready to use at once (October). Generated workflows come with clearly structured results, so App Builder can use them without a test run first.
- Clearer app versions (July). The app list shows the published version and who published it, and the actions available depend on your role. Read more
Workflows
- Workflow Monitoring (October). A new page that collects failed workflow runs in one place, so you can retry them, edit the input and resend, or mark them as handled. Read more
- Webhook triggers (September). Another system can start a workflow by calling a URL, which makes integrations simpler. Read more
- Find workflows faster (October). Filter the workflow list by the steps a workflow contains, and search by workflow ID.
- Read-only mode (August). Open a workflow to review, compare and copy its steps without any risk of changing it. Read more
- Transform editor (October). Choose between a three-column layout or the expression above the output, and keep your test input when you reopen the step. Read more
- Email step with preview (July). A clearer editor with a preview, so you see how the email will look before it is sent. Read more
- One workflow, several environments (August). The Table Updater step can pick its target table based on the environment the workflow runs in. Read more
- Refreshed Manual trigger (September). Set the form's title, description and button label, preview it, and arrange fields by drag and drop.
- Smaller helpers. Custom Status in execution keys, sending file data as binary from the REST API step, Copy to clipboard in Transform and logs, and readable schedule descriptions.
Sign-in, users and administration
- SMS verification at sign-in (September). An extra verification step for organisations that use SMS codes. Read more
- Bulk user management (September). Set a tag on many users at once, and add, remove or replace a role for many users in one go. Read more
- Sign-in method and M3 User ID (July and October). The Users list shows how each user signs in (single sign-on or manual) and their M3 User ID.
- A tidier Administration menu (October). Settings are grouped into Access Management, Company Management, AI Management, Workflow Management and Integrations.
- AI permissions in roles (September). Control who can view and change AI settings such as the Tenant Prompt.
Connectivity and dashboards
- Dedicated Outbound IP (August). Send traffic from a fixed IP address that only your organisation uses, for external services that only accept approved addresses. Read more
- Dashboard widgets that link onward (September). Infobox and Chart widgets can link to another application, so you can jump straight from a dashboard.
