Big Update: Smarter Workflows, More Powerful Dashboards, and a Better Builder Experience​

This release introduces powerful new tools for building workflows, improves dashboard capabilities, and refines key parts of the user experience. From automating M3 workflow creation to enhancing Excel mapping and dashboard interactivity, these updates are designed to help you move faster with less manual effort.

New features​

M3 Workflow Builder​

A new tool under Administration for building M3 workflows without starting from scratch:

  • Browse M3 programs and transactions and see their input and output fields.
  • Generate a workflow from your selection automatically.
  • Test a workflow directly, without manual setup.

Improvements​

Dashboards​

  • Table widget row selection is remembered: Selected rows are saved for you and restored when you reopen the dashboard. You can also export only the selected rows.
  • Workflows as a data source for chart widgets: Chart widgets can use workflows as their data source. Axis fields can be set manually when needed.

Workflows​

  • Workflow list: A new Active/Deactivated status column you can sort by, and a collapsible sidebar with recently viewed workflows. Workflow cards are more compact and show the chain of steps more clearly.
  • Excel step:
    • Description and mapping settings are in a new Settings dialog.
    • Large mappings load faster.
    • A new "Grouped By" manager shows the grouping fields and lets you remove them.
    • Column widths adjust to the content.
  • Environment editor redesign: Pick items from a searchable list, reorder them by dragging and remove them in place.
  • Unsaved changes prompt: When you leave an edited step, you are asked to save, with a Save and Continue option.
  • Deactivation confirmation: Deactivating a workflow asks you to confirm and warns that scheduled runs will stop.
  • Workflow creation: Creating a workflow now takes three steps instead of four, with a card-based template picker.

Platform​

  • Home page: Shows your tenant alias and a link to the previous version of the platform.
  • Administration: Now opens from its own link in the header.
  • Connection defaults: Connections to Anthropic models come with a pre-filled address.

Fixed​

  • Workflow names: Special characters and duplicate aliases are not accepted when you type the name.
