Big Update: Safer Editing, Clearer Actions, and App Installation​

This release brings a more reliable and polished App Builder experience. From protecting your work to making actions clearer and enabling app installation, these updates help you stay in control and focused while building.

New features​

Install apps to your device​

Apps built in App Builder can now be installed on your device like a regular app (a Progressive Web App). Add them to your home screen or desktop and open them without the browser around them.

Improvements​

  • Unsaved changes reminder: A banner reminds you to save when you have unsaved changes, and shows again if you keep working without saving.
  • Warning when leaving: If you leave the editor during a build session with unsaved changes, you are asked to confirm first.

Fixed​

  • Clearer save: The Apply button is now called Save, and it is disabled when there is nothing to save.
  • Consistent labels: The apps list is labeled Apps, the State column is now Status, and the create button reads Create new app.
  • Version selector: The version selector is locked during a build session, so the version cannot change by accident while you work.
