Smarter User Management and Better Workflow Mapping
This release makes administration easier and workflow configuration more intuitive. From automatic role management and clearer mapping indicators to automatic time zone handling, these updates help simplify everyday work across Vince Platform.
Improvements
Automatic Role Management
User roles can now be managed automatically through your organization's identity provider (the system that handles sign-in), reducing manual administration and keeping permissions in sync.
Smarter Mapping Experience
- Delete the Main Mapping independently: You can remove the Main Mapping without affecting your existing headers or other mappings, so you can adjust an Excel setup without starting over.
- Clearer input field indicators: Input fields show an icon and a tooltip telling you where each value comes from, so you can follow workflow mappings at a glance.
Time Zones
- Automatic time zone support: Dates and times use your organization's or your own time zone, so they look right wherever you are.
App Builder
- AI service status: App Builder tells you when the AI service is slow or unavailable, so you can tell whether a problem is with the AI service or with Vince Platform.
Fixed
- Mapping tooltips: Mapping information tooltips are only shown when you hover over them, not while dragging.
- Environment messages: Messages about environments are clearer when no environments are available.
- Single Sign-On: Users who sign in with Single Sign-On are taken to the page they originally wanted to open.
- Display name: A changed display name shows up immediately, without signing out and back in.
- Table preview search: Searching a table preview now matches partial words, so records are easier to find.
- Table triggers: A table trigger needs an action selected before you can configure it, with a clear message if it is missing.
- Surveys: Survey pop-ups are no longer shown in Vince Automation.
