Big Update: Smoother App Builder, Faster Workflow Configuration, and Dashboard Improvements
This release focuses on making everyday tasks faster and more intuitive. From a more polished App Builder launch experience to smarter workflow configuration and improved dashboard behavior, these updates help reduce friction and keep you focused on your work.
Improvements
App Builder
- Launch experience: Apps now open with a loading animation and start in full-screen mode.
Workflows
- Configure several M3 API inputs at once: Select multiple input fields and configure them together. Selected fields are highlighted.
- Suggestions for M3 Company and Division: These fields suggest values you have used before, and Company checks that the value is a number.
- Excel mapping tooltips: Hover over a mapped cell to see which workflow field it is connected to.
- Parameters panel: The panel opens automatically when an Excel step has no fields yet, to guide you through setup.
- Warning before losing changes: If you add a new step while you have unsaved changes, you get a warning first.
- Event trigger selection: Tables that cannot be used as event triggers are marked in the list, with a tooltip that explains why.
Dashboards
- Faster widget copying: The Copy Widget dialog opens immediately and loads the list of dashboards in the background.
- Older workflow format warning: When you edit a widget that uses an older workflow format, a warning explains that switching to the new format cannot be undone.
Fixed
- Excel drag and drop: Dragging a field onto an empty column now works without an extra confirmation.
- Step names: Workflow steps have clearer names, so similar steps such as M3 Filter and Generic Filter are easier to tell apart.
- Boolean filters: Yes/no filters start with a default value instead of being empty.
- User Profile location: The User Profile page has moved from Administration to Settings and opens as a full page without the administration sidebar.
