Signing in
You sign in to Vince Platform on your organisation's sign-in page, titled Sign in to {your organisation}. Which options you see depends on how your administrator has set up your tenant (your organisation's own Vince Platform environment).
Signing in with email and password
- Enter your Email and Password. Use the eye icon in the password field to show what you typed.
- Click Log in, or press Enter in either field.
New users receive an email with their login details and a temporary password when an administrator creates their account. See Users.
Signing in with SSO
If your organisation has configured single sign-on, a button for each identity provider appears next to Log in, for example Log in with Microsoft or Log in with Okta. Click it and complete the sign-in with your corporate account.
If your administrator has enforced SSO, the email and password fields are hidden and you can only sign in through the provider buttons. See Single Sign-On for how administrators set this up.
If you can't sign in
Common causes:
- Wrong email or password. Check your details, or use Forgot Password?.
- Your account has been deactivated. Contact your administrator.
- Your organisation requires single sign-on. Use the SSO button instead of email and password.
- You are on the wrong sign-in page for your organisation. Contact your administrator for the correct address.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email and click Reset Password. You receive an email with a code.
- Enter the Confirmation code from the email and choose a New Password. The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and a number.
- Click Log in (or press Enter) to finish. This sets your new password and signs you in.
Click Back to Log In at any step to return to the sign-in page. If the code is wrong or has expired, request a new one and try again.

Verifying your identity (SMS)
If SMS multi-factor authentication applies to your account, signing in with email and password takes you to a Verify your identity page. A verification code is sent to your phone.
- Enter the code in Verification code. Your email is shown above the field for reference and cannot be edited.
- Click Verify, or press Enter.
After a successful check you are taken to the page you were trying to open, or to Home.
If the code is missing or wrong, the page asks you to try again.
Who can turn on SMS verification
SMS verification is a company-wide setting that is managed by Vince. To have it turned on or off for your organisation, contact Vince support.
An administrator can store a Phone Number on each user when creating or editing the user, as described on the Users page.
For SSO users, multi-factor authentication is handled by your identity provider; see Security overview.
