Release: 12 October 2026
Ask AI Joins You in the Platform
Ask AI is a new helper in the header that knows where you are in the platform and guides you through what you are doing, including writing and fixing JSONata in the Transform step. This release also adds Workflow Monitoring for failed executions, step-based workflow search and a reorganised Administration menu. Read the "Heads up" section for the new menu locations.
New features
Ask AI
There is a new Ask AI button in the top header (hover for AI helper). It opens a chat panel on every page where you can ask how Vince Platform works: features, workflows, or where to find what you need.
Ask AI is context-aware. It knows which page you are on, which dialog or tab is open and which field you are working in, so answers are about what you are doing right now. It guides you through:
- building workflows: which step to use and how to configure it,
- writing and debugging JSONata,
- setting up connections,
- finding settings in Administration,
- understanding error messages, and
- finding the right documentation page.
Answers link to the documentation, and a linked page can open in a reader panel next to the chat (with Open in app). Ask AI may ask a follow-up question with options to pick from, to narrow down the answer. A conversation lasts while the panel is open; closing it starts a fresh one next time.
Help with JSONata in the Transform step
In the Transform step, Ask AI understands the expression you are editing, any error it produces, and the structure of the step's input and the workflow context (trigger, earlier steps, connections and user tags). It can explain an error, and write or fix the expression. A proposed expression is placed straight into the step's editor, so review it and test it before you save. In other places Ask AI guides you and does not change your settings.
Answers that fit you
Tell Ask AI how familiar you are with the platform: Just starting, Some experience, Pretty confident or I use this all the time. Adjust the answer length and pick your department. Press Apply and the settings apply from your next question. Your organization's industry is also taken into account; it is set under Administration → Company Management → Information.
The first time you open it, a Set up your AI Helper card walks you through the choices (or press Not now). Your department and Vince Platform Knowledge Level also live in My profile.
Why it matters: help is available at the point where you work, and it is tailored to your experience.

Workflow Monitoring
Workflow Monitoring is a new page under Administration → Workflow Management, and also a Workflow Monitoring button on the Workflows list. It lets you track failed executions, then verify or retry them. You can see it if you have Read permission on all workflows.
At the top, four cards give you the picture at a glance: Unhandled errors, Affected workflows, Hours since last error and Errors per day. Below them, Unhandled errors by workflow shows which workflows fail the most (top five, plus Other), and clicking a bar filters the list. You can narrow things down with Search by workflow, execution ID or key, the workflow filter, and a Time range of 3, 7, 14 or 21 days. Show retried and Show verified bring back executions you already dealt with.
Working through the errors
Each row in Error executions has actions: Retry, Mark as verified, Edit payload and resend, Open full page and Open workflow logs. Retry runs the workflow again with its original input. You can select up to 50 executions and handle them in bulk, as long as you have permission to run those workflows.
Edit payload and resend opens the Trigger payload (JSON) so you can fix the data, then Resend. You can always go back with Reset to original, and the original execution is marked as retried. The Execution details dialog shows the execution ID, error notification, execution keys, error details and the trigger payload.
Why it matters: failures from across your workflows are collected in one place. A couple of limits to know about: if more executions match than we can show, we tell you and suggest a shorter time range, and details are not available for executions older than three months.

Improvements
Components filter and search by ID
The Workflows list has a new Components filter. Select one or more step types and you only see workflows that contain all of them. It answers questions such as "which of our workflows use the Email step?" or "where do we call a REST API and write to a table?". The Trigger step is not in the list, since every workflow has one.
The search box (Search by name or ID...) now also matches the workflow ID.

M3 Workflow Builder
The M3 Workflow Builder is the quickest way to build workflows against Infor M3 for use in App Builder. (Building for VXL Live? Use a regular workflow instead.)
Workflows generated by the M3 Workflow Builder now return clearly structured results, so App Builder can use them right away, without running them first.
Why it matters: the next step in line, such as App Builder, can rely on the shape of what comes out.

Sign-in method column
The Users list has a new, sortable Sign-in method column. It shows Manual for users who sign in with a password, or the name of the single sign-on provider (with a shield icon) for users who sign in through SSO. It shows which users have moved to SSO and which have not.

Add Custom Status
The execution keys editor has a new Add Custom Status button. It adds a key named CustomStatus, always pinned first, so you can see the status of an execution at a glance.

REST API step: base64 data as binary
The REST API step can now Send base64 encoded data as binary, for APIs that expect a file rather than text.

Fixed
- Add a step by double-click: double-clicking a step in the add-step popover adds it.
- Primary key columns: tables now show a key icon for primary key columns.
- Data Lake editor: the query editor adjusts its height to your screen.

Heads up: the Administration menu moved
We reorganised the Administration sidebar, and all groups are now expanded by default. Nothing was removed, but several things have a new address:
| What | Old location | New location |
|---|---|---|
| Audit log | Reports | Company Management |
| Tenant prompt | AI Settings | AI Management |
| MCP servers | AI Settings | AI Management |
| MCP Tool Permissions | Access Management | AI Management |
| Company settings | Company settings | Company Management (renamed) |
| AI Settings | AI Settings | AI Management (renamed) |
| Connections, Environments, Webhooks | Workflow Settings | Integrations (new group) |
| Groups, Schedules, Variables | Workflow Settings | Workflow Management |
| Workflow Statistics | Reports | Click the Workflow Management group header |
| Workflow Monitoring | New | Workflow Management |
| Latest Updates, Documentation, Support | Sidebar | Help & Resources (globe icon in the top header) |
The Reports and Workflow Settings groups are gone. Clicking the Workflow Management header now opens Workflow Statistics. The current layout is:
- Access Management: Users, Roles, API-Clients
- Company Management: Information, SCIM, Single Sign-On, Audit log
- AI Management: Tenant prompt, MCP servers, MCP Tool Permissions
- Workflow Management: Groups, Schedules, Variables, M3 Workflow Builder, Workflow Monitoring
- Integrations: Connections, Environments, Webhooks
