Info Widget

The Info Widget displays a single value — a count, sum, or aggregated metric — in a large, styled card on the dashboard. It supports conditional colour rules, a clickable detail view, and dynamic linking to other widgets.

Details panel

Defines which fields appear when a user clicks View details.

  • Select the columns from your dataset to include
  • Drag and drop to set their display order
  • Use the magnifying glass icon to mark a column as searchable in the detail view

Filter panel

Restricts the dataset to specific rows before the widget calculates its value.

Field typeAvailable conditions
TextIs, Contains, Starts with, Ends with, Is empty
NumericEquals, Greater than, Less than, Is between, Is empty
DateIs, Is before, Is after, Relative to, Is between
BooleanIs / Is not (true / false)
CompareCompare one field against another field

Use Filter Groups with AND / OR logic to combine multiple conditions:

  • Group A: employee_gender = Female AND tenure_years > 5
  • Group B: employee_gender = Male AND tenure_years < 20
  • Combine with: Group A OR Group B

Widget linking

Link an Info Widget to an Input Widget or any other widget that emits a selection event. Once linked, its content and visibility respond automatically to what the user selects — just set the Linked from field in the Data panel.

Example

An Info Widget showing "Active Employees: 498" is linked to a Search Employees Input Widget. When the user searches, the count updates to reflect the filtered result and a View details link appears showing the matching records.
